It's back to school of the Atmos Consulting Edinburgh team, as they  take up residency in Robert Wilson’s iconic Canning Street former school building.

Wilson was an architect for the Edinburgh board of Education and responsible for building many of the city’s most recognisable school buildings.  Throughout his career, he was involved in several projects aimed at improving the lives of the poor and destitute, a legacy which can still be seen in Edinburgh today, more than 100 years after his death.

Speaking about the move, Atmos Consulting Managing Director, Jean Curran said: "We are thrilled to have secured our new office space in a building with such a rich history. “Being in the heart of the bustling business community  just a 5 minute walk from Haymarket train station, ensures we continue to offer a high quality environment located as close as possible to sustainable travel options for our staff and clients.

“Our new home was designed by architect Robert Wilson and was officially opened on 29th October 1888 by the Edinburgh School Board. The school was attended by boys and girls aged 5 -13 - with separate staircases for each of course!  Later it was used as an education resource centre. A listed building, it continues to be a prominent land mark in the West end of Edinburgh. In 1999, it opened as a fully serviced, modern business centre.  It has been beautifully restored to provide a contemporary feel with impressive traditional features.”

Jean Curran concluded: “We look forward to continuing to work closely with clients from these new premises and to hosting a wide variety of visitors in these historic surroundings.”
