The current global pandemic and subsequent mitigation measures are impacting on the ability of the renewables industry to collect the field data required for assessment, with many survey seasons likely to be curtailed or delayed, with project timescale and financial implications as a result.

This means we must try to where possible adapt and innovate to keep projects moving and managing both the financial and social impacts. To support industry through these challenging times, Atmos Consulting will be hosting a free webinar on Friday 15 May at 11.00 am.

The webinar will outline how modelling can reduce the uncertainty in data sets with missing or limited data, using GIS and data tools to develop models where there are gaps, to reduce uncertainty and explore scenarios where situations may be changing.

Atmos Principal Consultant, GIS Tom Hartley and Technical Director, Ornithology and HRA Jenny Bell will draw on previous experience with practical examples to demonstrate:

What tools we can use where incomplete or partial data sets exist;

Uncertainty modelling techniques where some data or old data exist; and

What to plan for next year to maximise effort and give confidence to the regulator in your data and what the outcomes could be.

Attendance.

This webinar will be delivered via Zoom. Log in details will sent at 10.00 am on Friday 15 May. Due to time restrictions it will start at 11.00 prompt and finish at 11.45.
