Atmos Consulting - project management: feasibility to construction

Project Management

Atmos Consulting's project management team operates to audited quality procedures and has a robust resource planning system which ensures that staff can dedicate the right amount of time to their projects. We typically adopt the following project management structure:

  • A principal project manager is the primary point of contact for the client and is responsible for supervising the project management and support staff, as well as coordinating activities to identify efficiencies and synergies within and across projects;
  • A dedicated project manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of projects and for coordinating inputs from internal specialist advisors and third party subcontractors.

On major projects or portfolios, a consultancy director is responsible for quality control and strategic guidance to the project team.

Where appropriate, project programmes are managed using MS Project and regular updates provided by clients on an exception basis. We have various tried and tested systems for managing and coordinating work streams with the aim of ensuring that optimum solutions are achieved as efficiently as possible.

Public relations can be key to the success of projects and is clearly important to many clients. Atmos project managers, who will be familiar with the project-specific issues and personalities, can run consultation and PR campaigns, or liaise directly with the client’s team in developing and implementing communications strategies.
