Pethshire Mini Hydro Schemes in Planning
Three proposed Hydroelectic generation schemes in Perthshire have been submitted to planning.
Atmos Consulting was employed to undertake Environmental assessments for three small run-of-river hydroelectric generation projects on Atholl Estate's land. Atmos provided environmental consultancy for the three locations at Dowally Burn, Loch Broom Burn, near Ballinluig and Banvie Burn at Blair Atholl.
Project Manager, James Murray commented, 'We looked into a variety of elements for these schemes, including noise, landscape and amenity issues as well as carrying out ecological surveys. We look forward to hearing the results from the planning committee and are confident of a good result for Atholl Estates.'
