Skye Cycling Sportive, sponsored by Atmos Consulting, shown on the BBC's Adventure Show.
One of the Highland cycling events, sponsored by Atmos Consulting, was televised on the Adventure Show on BBC2 at the weekend. The Skye sportive is one of a number of cycling events taking place through-out the year in the Scottish Highlands.
Dougie Vipond hosted the show which followed competitors on this challenging course which follows the peninsula between the cliffs of the Quaraing and the Atlantic Ocean, then swings South with the Cuillin Mountains, before eventually sweeping north back to the finish at Portree.
Atmos Consulting sponsored the Midlothian Triathlon team to participate in the race. AndFish crossed the line at the same time as the winner, with a time of 4hrs 36mins. Chris Bennie finished the same race in 30th place with a time of 5hrs 10secs whilst the rest of the West Lothian Triathlon team, Mike Creamer and Peter Joyce, came 38th and 39th in the 45-mile Skye Beag cycle trial respectively.
As one of the front runners in the event, Andy was interviewed by the Adventure Show throughout the course.
